Custom Comfort - ecoKIDS

bamboo blanket, baby boomba

Don’t we all just wanna curl up in a blanket on these cold and rainy fall days?

Somebody sing me a lullaby and wrap me up right now! If this was actually feasible, we'd be doin' it in a Baby Boomba baby blanket.

These eco-blankies are so cuddly!  Made with a double layer, one side has a knit face and the other side is a 'soft as baby's bum' fleece. Baby Boomba’s bamboo fleece is made from 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton, right here in Canada. All fabric is safety-tested for all known harmful substances, both regulated and unregulated, that accumulate in all stages of fabric production from cultivation to finishing, meeting the highest level of certification. (clean AND cuddly!)

We know that bamboo is sustainable and naturally grown but it’s also perfect for a baby's sensitive or allergy prone skin. It absorbs and evaporates sweat in a split second and doesn't stick to skin. It’s got crazy breathability so you can feel good about wrapping your little one up in one of these planet and baby friendly blankets.

And here’s another reason to love Baby Boomba blankets – you can customize them. Not only can you honor an heirloom by upcycling a blankie from your own childhood that is then incorporated into a new, Boomba edition just for you, or you can personalize your blanket by using a piece of fabric you own that you just absolutely love.

Baby Boomba, who also makes baby carriers, was started out of necessity by mompreneur Marina Duque, who had a colicky baby and was actually carried around in a mei tai by her grandmother herself.  They have since evolved and launched their eco-blankies, nursing covers and organic onesies.
