Like so many of us entrepreneurs what drives us to break free of the grind is a combination plate of equal parts weariness, complacency, boredom and ambition - all adding up to a veritable pupuplatter of momentum that provides the platform for something beautiful to blossom. Some entrepreneurs flee for foreign shores, some flee into even bigger boardrooms striving for seed money, Elizabeth Callhan fled to the kitchen and has been cooking up the dream ever since.
Her getaway vehicle of choice: a bicycle. Now she can be found pedalling her tasty brainchild all about town. Weaving through noon-hour traffic to bring you your lunch.
Lilly's Lunches is the stuff of nostalgia, brown bags, homespun treats and little love notes, your mama couldn't have done it better.

Equal parts foodie and cycle enthusiast, 'Lil' 's got possibly the coolest bike in the lane- vintage-y green custom designed ( and illustrated ) fitted with removable and refrigerate-able shelving built into the adorably branded basket by which to deliver lunch to hungry desk-bound peeps all over Toronto.
Serving up locally sourced, wholefood, pedal powered goodness by way of bike, tucked into her little basket are homemade culinary creations that bring love and spice into the days of Toronto's 9-5ers. Lunches include namesake sandwiches, each inspired by someone in the life of the Chef, from a sandwich named for her boyfriend- 'The Steve' ( think meat ) to culinary treasures fit for any vegetarian ( think tahini, almonds, sprouts )
40 bucks gets you a 4 week membership wherein one day per week you will receive a homemade lunch delivered to your desk.

here's a plan:
Plan a picnic in the park and call Lil to bring your basket.

Host a retro-themed dinner party and
have it catered.

Gift your loved one a
lunch membership and keep her loved and fed.

Some nostalgia deserves to be tossed out ( ...never again to be brought back 'ironically' by hipsters ) pinics, brown bags, homemade treats and love notes, definitely not in that bag.
